Hi! I’m Karunia Purna Kusciati or better known as Nia. I finished my undergraduate program at English Department of Letters and Fine Arts Faculty, Sebelas Maret University in 2006. A year later I decided to take my master program majoring in American Studies at University of Indonesia and managed to finish it in 2009. Now I become one of the teaching staffs of English Department of Letters and Fine Arts Faculty, Sebelas Maret University. I have joined with the English Department squad since February 2010. Yup, I’m a new comer in this lovely department which has four mainstreams, namely Literature, Linguistics, Translation, and American Studies. As you can guess, I help American Studies team to give the students understanding about everything that deals with the United States of America. I put a huge interest on Popular Culture, Media Studies, and Visual Studies.
